The Woodcraft Flooring Workshop
Woodcraft Flooring is a family-run business that was established in 2008, but our story began long before that.
For generations, our family has worked with wood. Long before moving to the United Kingdom, woodworking was part of our family heritage. We began by producing structural timber, including joists, beams and battens, before progressing into the manufacture and installation of traditional wooden doors, windows, tables and bespoke joinery. Working with wood has never simply been a profession, it has always been part of who we are.
After arriving in the UK, that passion naturally evolved into wood flooring.
In 2008, our founder, Mursel Mustafa, opened the first Woodcraft Flooring showroom in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. From the very beginning, the vision was simple: supply and install exceptional-quality wood flooring that would stand the test of time while delivering outstanding customer service.
Over the years, we have built lasting relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, developers and commercial clients, earning a reputation for quality, reliability and craftsmanship.
As the business continued to grow, Mursel’s children, Granit and Leonarda, became increasingly involved. Having spent years learning and being in and around the workshop from a young age, they naturally became part of the next generation of Woodcraft Flooring.
Today, Leonarda manages the showroom and customer experience, while Granit leads our installation division, working alongside our experienced in-house fitting team. Together, we continue to operate as a proud family business with the same values that built the company from day one.
Our Borehamwood workshop remains a vital part of our business, where every floor and every board is hand prepared and carefully inspected before installation. We believe this personal approach allows us to offer a level of quality that simply cannot be achieved with mass-produced flooring.
Throughout the years, the flooring industry has changed significantly. Solid wood flooring evolved into engineered flooring, and more recently the market has become saturated with imitation flooring products. While trends have changed, our philosophy has remained the same.
We continue to believe that nothing compares to real wood.
Our commitment has always been to produce beautiful, long-lasting wood floors using carefully selected materials, skilled craftsmanship and traditional values combined with modern techniques. It is this commitment that continues to define Woodcraft Flooring today.
